PVC Schedule 40
|
|
PVC 40 is white and is commonly used for plumbing and drainage. PVC's benefits include it's strength, durability, cost, and it's easy to install. PVC 40 can be used for applications under 140°F/60°C. CPVC is recommended (and usually required) for indoor plumbing distribution because it can be used for both hot and cold pipes. Always check your local codes.
